Unlock DVD player Yamaha S-559

To set your DVD player Yamaha S-559 to region-free follow those instructions:

• Connect all the requisite wires and power the DVD player on
• Make sure that the TV is set to the correct video input ( The Yamaha logo is diplayed on the TV screen, if the DVD player is on)
• Press HOME MENU from the remote control (your television should now show a panel of options to choose from)
• Scroll down to INITIAL SETTINGS and press ENTER (not return)
• Scroll down to OPTIONS (dont press ENTER now)
• Press ON SCREEN on the remote
• Key in 1470
• The player powers itself OFF
• Power it back on and play DVDs from any region
