Nautilus

Nautilus is the well known file manager for GNOME Linux desktop.

Nautilus Scripts

Nautilus contextual menu can easily be extended using scripts. Put your scripts in /usr/share/nautilus-scripts and use the nautilus-script-manager command to enable them on per user basis.

Nautilus SVN

A great Nautilus extension for SVN management. See the NautilusSVN home page. See also SubVersionHome.

Launch Nautilus as root

Just use gksudo nautilus. I usually create an application launcher icon with this command in GNOME top panel.
