Catalyst 7.4 Media Player 10 blank screen

I was getting no video image in Windows Media Player 10 using Catalyst 7.4 on a Radeon 9600 with 256Mo. The sound was playing fine however.
To fix that black screen issue in Windows Media Player 10 I had to:

• Open Windows Media Player 10
• Go to Tools > Options > Performance > Advanced
• Disable the "Use overlays" option in the "Video acceleration" area.
